Hello, my name is Euthemia (Mia) and I am a self-taught artist and designer based in sunny Greece. I am the creative behind Efilandia and Ink on Milk art prints, where I bring my love for surface pattern design and illustration to life. In 2010, I started making handmade decorative objects for children’s rooms under my brand "EFILANDIA', but my focus has since shifted to designing fresh, light and environment-inspired patterns.
PROCESS
I enjoy working with different mediums as well as digital tools when creating, with a preference to sketch and watercolor. My aim is to create playful yet harmonious designs with a touch of elegance that are easy to the eye, to create artwork that encourages and inspires fresh and harmonious envirement. Sustainability and joy are at the heart of my philosophy, reflecting my deep appreciation for nature and cultural heritage .
RECHARGING
Outside of my creative work, I find inspiration in simple pleasures—long walks, reading books, and wandering through museums. I love being in nature, traveling, and exploring different cultures and traditions. These moments help me recharge and spark new ideas, keeping me connected to the beauty and creativity around me. I believe creativity, mindfulness, and empathy guide everything I do, both in my art and in my everyday life.
